Age-old and recently renovated Casa Cüs is the last remaining case of a traditional Rendena home, in which different families used to carry out traditional rural activities. Many homes in Darè, which managed to cope with five fires that destroyed the town, are built in traditional local architecture, with wide saddle roofs covered with typical wooden tiles called scàndole, granite portals and wooden superstructures.
