Vanoi ethnographic trail - Canal San Bovo
Starting from the House of the Ethnographic Trail a series of themed rings takes visitors along the trails, to the places and rural buildings where the agricultural subsistence economy was practiced.
The Vanoi Ethnographic Trail winds between the village of Caoria (850 m.) and the Malga Vesnòta di Sopra (1850 m.). Starting from the House of the Ethnographic Trail a series of themed rings takes visitors along the trails, to the places and rural buildings where the agricultural subsistence economy was practiced. In this sense the trail is a journey through time and space, and to walk through the Vall (the village of Caoria with its agricultural areas), the Pradi (tithed family agricultural plots), the Bósc (productive woodland) and the Montagna (the alpine pastures) means to empathize with the people who tamed those places to make their living. The Vanoi Ethnographic Trail was built and managed by the Paneveggio Pale di San Martino Nature Park and is the main ethnographic element of the Vanoi Eco-museum.
