A day at Castel Nanno

Art, history, music, theatre, dance and culture will come together to bring Castel Nanno back to the 16th century, when the Madruzzo nobles used to meet there to talk, dance, eat and enjoy themselves in the castle's gardens.

The event is organised by the tourist board of Val di Non, the owners of the castle, the Associazione Castelli del Trentino, which, with the collaboration also of the Istituto Italiano dei Castelli, the Associazione Culturale Ricerche Fortificazioni Altomedievali and the Associazione Culturale G.B. Lampi, have joined forces on this occasion in their commitment to enhance one of the most charming and mysterious castles in Val di Non.

medieval dances (the activity costs € 15; € 8 for children)
at 15.00 - Conference in the museum hall (free admission):
‘Castel Nanno: territory, buildings, decorations’ with:
- Nicoletta Pisu, archaeologist of the UMSt (Strategic Mission Unit of the Department for Cultural Heritage and Activities), for the protection and promotion of cultural heritage and activities (member of the Istituto Italiano Castelli - Trentino Alto Adige section)
- Katia Lenzi, medieval archaeologist
- Chiara Radice, art historian of the UMSt, for the protection and promotion of cultural heritage and activities
At 17.00: - booking required:

A snack bar is available all day long, curated by the tourist board of Nanno; in the afternoon, free admission to the workshop of archaeological forge for children
