A jump ... in the games of the past

Here again for the sixth year the event "A jump ... in the games of the past".

In the era of computers, 3D video games, digital terrestrial, the Museum presents a lot of games that our grandparents and great-grandparents used to play. Such games and activities were poor in materials, but they fostered the development of basic skills such as coordination, agility, logic and inventiveness; as a result, they helped socialization in the courts or squares of the village.

During the afternoon, kids will have the chance to get to know such games and try them in first person, such as trampolines, target shooting, stomping of the stoppers, the ancient game called “Carrom” ... but also workshops to build toys, delicacies to taste with chef Sabatino Iannone of the restaurant "La Contea" of Bolbeno, and small artifacts built by the Wood School of Praso.

All events end at 4.45 pm with the comedy show "Professor Corazón at the Museum of San Michele" by and with Nicola Sordo. For the little ones there will be a soft corner where they can play with some sensory toys.

  • A leap ... in the “Carrom” with the l'Associazione Mezzocorona Carrom Dragon: trying the old game of the carrom
  • A jump ... among the toys of the past with the mountain museum of Caderzone Terme: toys built by the sculptors of the wood school of Praso
  • A jump ... in the delicacies prepared by chef Sabatino Iannone's (made with local products)
