[ METS - Museo etnografico di San Michele]

In the era of computers, 3D video games, and digital terrestrial television, the METS - Trentino Ethnographic Museum of San Michele is re-proposes again the games that our grandparents and great-grandparents used to play, emphasising playful activities that are poor in materials but rich in developing basic skills such as coordination, agility, logic, and inventiveness, to give people the opportunity to socialise in courtyards or village squares.

On Saturday 13 May, from 14.00, children will get to know some old-fashioned toys and try out first-hand the games their grandparents used to play in the open air.

The programme includes numerous games to try out, such as stilts, tug-of-war, spinning tops, pinball, shooting at the so called 'cioni'... But also delicacies to taste with Sabatino Iannone -chef of the La Contea di Bolbeno restaurant-, a beautiful exhibition of LEGO®,organised by the "Amici del Mattoncino Rotaliana" association, and the chance to discover a game that tells the reality of African children in the states where the organisation "Doctors with Africa Cuamm" works, and which wants to remind us that we can only grow together. For the little ones there will be a soft corner where they can try out some sensory games.

The last event will take place at 17.00 with an evocative falconry show.
