A new painting in the collections of the Buonconsiglio Castle
A painting on copper depicting St. Romedius by Christopher Unterperger

A copper painting by Cristoforo Unterperger depicting St. Romedius - granted on free loan to the museum - will be presented to the public on Sunday 15 January at 11.00 at the Buonconsiglio Castle.
This rare copper painting by Val di Fiemme painter Cristoforo Unterperger (Cavalese 1732 - Rome 1798), depicting St. Romedius meeting St. Vigilius, will become part of the Buonconsiglio Castle's exhibition itinerary.
On Sunday January 15 at 11 a.m. its official presentation to the public will be held by museum director Laura Dal Prà and museum curator Roberto Pancheri.
The date 15 January was chosen because it is the celebration day of the hermit saint (in the hermitage of San Romedio in Val di Non) who is very well known and dear to all the people of Trentino.
