"Amalia!" by Michael Cohen-Weissert
Amalia! is a western opera at the intersection of music and cinema. On stage, along with the orchestra, there are three singers and a screen that shows images of the somewhat gloomy landscapes of the Val di Fosse (Vinschgau Alps). But when the singers leave the scene, they appear on the screen, as if they were exchanging their roles.
