Anguanas, female figures in Dolomite mythology
Serena Marchi alto flute, composition, Olmo Chittò vibraphone, Andrea Ruocco double bass

A musical experience to pay homage to and restore the original image of some of the female figures that animate the rich heritage of legends that have been spread in the Dolomites since ancient times and that reflect the culture of the people who live there, based on matriarchy.
The listener will be enveloped in the cultural message that these women have tried to convey, a lesson on love and respect for the rhythms of life imposed by the mountains and the manifestations of nature because, as the legend of Tanna - another Queen of winter and ice - teaches us, life often has to be accepted as it is. You can try to understand it and this can help, but you cannot always turn it to your advantage.
