The Ufficio beni archivistici, librari e Archivio provinciale | Archival and library material Office and the Provincial archive Office of Trento proposes the “TN 8222” Architectural bike ride in Trento (city), as part of the Giovedì in Archivio provinciale  initiative.

The aim is to introduce some buildings designed by architect Carlo Keller and engineer architect Renzo Masè, whose professional archives are preserved in the provincial archives, also recalling other projects of theirs, whether completed or not, 40 years after the year in which they passed away, 1982.

The itinerary will start from Piazza Dante and will include an easy city walk to the Santa Chiara hospital.

There will be an introductory presentation by Roberta Giovanna Arcaini of the organising office, and six illustrative stops held by architect Fabio Campolongo for architect Carlo Keller, and professor Cristiana Volpi for engineer Renzo Masè.

For further information, please note that two chapters are dedicated to Carlo Keller and Renzo Masè in the book Archivi del costruire. Per una storia dell’architettura e dell’ingegneria in Trentino nel Novecento  curated by R.G. Arcaini, F. Campolongo, C. Volpi, published in 2020, and viewable online in Trentino Cultura.

The initiative is carried out in collaboration with the Architectural Heritage Office of the same Department and the DICAM (Department of Civil, Environmental and Mechanical Engineering of the University of Trento), together with FIAB-Trento Amici della bicicletta APS  and Trento Monte Bondone local police force - Education sector - and with the endorsement of Ordine degli architetti PPC Ordine degli ingegneri della provincia di Trento Collegio degli ingegneri del Trentino  and CITRAC-Circolo trentino per l’architettura contemporane a.
