Art on the move. Collections, noble houses and travel. From the 16th to the 20th century

A noble summer residence, Palazzo d'Arco-Trentini in Villa di Bleggio, for the first time is allowing the public to see its precious collection of works of art in an exhibition that is a journey through different moments in the history of art, from the 16th to the 20th century.
Some thirty paintings from the collection of the owner, Gian Marco Trentini, effectively outline the different artistic seasons of this complex and dense half-millennium. The title "Art on the move" is intended to underline the dynamics and the changes of place to which works of art are subjected over time: passages of inheritance, moments of decadence, auctions, collectors all combine to eternalize what was created in different periods.
Among the artists on display are Scipione Pulzone, Giuseppe Craffonara, Fortunato Depero, Roberto Marcello Baldessari, Vittorio Corona, Mario Sironi, Luigi Bonazza, Karl Plattner, Riccardo Schweizer, Mauro Cappelletti, Aldo Schmid and Omar Galliani.
Exhibition curated by Roberta Bonazza, promoted in collaboration with the Centro Studi Judicaria
