Book presentation "La voce del vento" (The voice of the wind) by Gabriella Brugnara

Meetings and conferences , Book presentation

Gabriella Brugnara presents her novel La voce del vento (The voice of the wind) on the day of its national release.

Ilaria lives a magical childhood, surrounded by the overwhelming love of her mother Caterina and her stories brought by the voice of the Lake Garda wind, which unfailingly reaches their garden during the summer afternoons.

As she grows up, the girl rejects these stories, since she feels they are deceptions, "things for women of little substance". She becomes an engineer and specialises in wind power. She flies towards a successful future by carrying out her projects with dedication (studies and work abroad, travel, marriage and children).

Just like the wind, she feels a citizen of the world, while her mother takes refuge in the mountains of Trentino as soon as she can.

Suddenly, in her almost perfect life, where everything seems to be under control, Ilaria finds herself having to deal with a strange restlessness.

An unforeseen journey then begins for her, a long journey back to that part of herself that she has tried to erase, and which takes her back to her childhood and to the bond with her mother.

The situation is complicated by a tragic accident and a packet of mysterious love letters that challenge her certainties.
