Take a stroll through the market cabins to admire and buy crafts, food and wine, see the trades of yesteryear and enjoy some culture from theCastle to Palazzo Marchetti with its Venetian chimney pots and Habsburg gardens. 

On the evening of 10th December the sky above the castle will light up with a firework displaycasting its colours over the Christmas market and the historic town centre. TRIBUTE TO GIOVANNI SEGANTINI AND GIANNI CAPRONI:

The town of Arco dedicates a special tribute to its illustrious sons: the great painter Giovanni Segantini(1858-1899) and the Italian aviation pioneer Gianni Caproni (1886–1957).

The Segantini tour will feature billboard photos of the works of this artist around the historic centre, leading to the Segantini Museum which is housed in Palazzo Panni.

The tribute to Caproni in anticipation of his 60th anniversary features an installation which tells the story of those who made the greatest contribution to the development of Italian aviation. PARK OF THE GNOMES

For the Christmas period the famous Archduke’s Palace will be turned into the Park of the Gnomes.Amid the greenery of the Arboretum you will come across the Christmas gnomes in the shape of special installations as well as a snack bar for visitors.From the park you can reach the castle with an easy stroll through the olive grove, stopping off on the way at the belvedere where you can enjoy marvellous views over the Trentino end of Lake Garda.
