Christmas markets in Pergine Valsugana

Pergine Valsugana celebrates Christmas with a special market: theVillage of Wonders, open form November 14 to January 6 in the old town, with stands for children and families, cultural events and special care for social issues.

The Christmas Market of Pergine derives from an old legend: as the story goes, during Advent dwarfs and elves descended to the valley floor to offer sweets, decorations and toys. In fact it’s not by chance that the mascot chosen to celebrate Christmas and accompany visitors is a nice dwarf living in the mines of the Valle del Fersina valley.

Besides the typical stands, there will also be carols, music and shows for children with jugglers, small workshops, exhibitions and tasting events with only local products.
