Clue hunt at Valer Castle

How to bring the castle's former glory back to life for young visitors!

Cultural exhibitions and events , Guided tour
Castel Valer [ Ufficio Stampa PAT]

The little guests will solve puzzles on a guided tour that will lead them to discover the wonderful castle, its halls and secret corners. All adventurous children will then be named king and queen of the castle!

Meeting point

The meeting point with the guide is 15 minutes before the start of the tour, directly outside the castle entrance.

Duration of the guided tour

Approx. 1 hour 30 minutes

Description of the visit

The tour, which is recommended for children aged 6 to 10, is the same as the one for adults, so that accompanying adults (parents, grandparents, or aunts and uncles) can also visit all the areas of the castle and learn the story told by the guides in a more simplified and interactive language.

The visit will be a real hunt for a clue. Aided by a special map, the children will move around the gardens and between the rooms to identify the objects and works of art marked out and, at the end, the guide will crown them and invest them with one of the coats of arms of the various noble families represented in the castle's famous hall of coats of arms!
