Chiara Nicora and Ferdinando Baroffio, four-hand piano
Angela Demattè, narrating voice
Music by J. S. Bach

Aria: an investigation into Bach. A playful investigation. Sometimes irreverent, very serious and moving. With variations by Giordano Bruno. Fugues in the style of Achille Campanile. An investigation that seeks to understand what makes one musical speculation extraordinary over another. Last crescendo on neuroscience... and back to the Aria.

The Nicora-Baroffio duo has been active since 1993 and, in addition to the traditional repertoire, devotes itself to transcriptions by composers, especially in the 19th century. They have given numerous concerts in Italy, Croatia, Germany, France, Spain, Romania, Poland, and Switzerland to public and critical acclaim, also as soloists with orchestra.

Angela Demattè is an actress and playwright. With her first text "I had a beautiful red balloon" she won the Riccione Prize and the Golden Graal Prize in 2009. She won the Premio Scenario 2015 with the project 'Mad in Europe'. Her work is staged and published in Italy, France and Switzerland.
