Free guided tour on the occasion of the European Heritage Days

On the occasion of the European Heritage Days | Giornate Europee del Patrimonio, the museum proposes two free guided tours to its collections on Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 September.

The Italian theme of the 2023 Days "Patrimonio InVita", which picks up on the European slogan "Living Heritage" chosen by the Council of Europe, intends to draw connections between recognising, safeguarding and promoting intangible cultural heritage in order to share them and pass them on to future generations.

For this reason, the War Museum offers a guided tour of the collections focusing on the value of memory as a bridge between past and future.

Through the personal stories of soldiers and civilians told in the rooms of the Museum, we will try to understand how objects and documents, in addition to their intrinsic value, preserve an important heritage of memories that make up human history.
