Great Alpine Carnival of San Michele all'Adige

Unique in Trentino, the Great Alpine carnival of San Michele leads us to rediscover the authentic roots of this ancient winter rite: in fact, as a result of the great ethnological research that the Museum of the habits and customs of the people of Trentino is being carrying throughout Europe, several masked groups from the most remote valleys in the Alps and beyond will gather for this occasion. 

So, along with local parade floats, we'll see the parade of mysterious and charming maskers and the usual carnival cheerfulness will mingle with and stimulate our anthropological curiosity.
