The Fondazione Trentina Alcide De Gasperi runs a cultural hub in Pieve Tesino consisting of two Museums and the Garden of Europe, different from each other, yet in dialogue, weaving a path from the history of the men and women of Tesino to the heart of European institutions.
In the town center is the Casa De Gasperi Museum, the house where Alcide De Gasperi was born in April 1881. The goal of the four floors of museum exhibits is twofold and ambitious: on the one hand to recount in stages the episodes and encounters that marked the statesman's life, and at the same time to reinterpret the relevance of De Gasperi's message so that it becomes a compass in order to face the challenges of our present.

A few meters away, you can visit the Museo Tesino delle Stampe e dell’Ambulantato | Per Via. Tesino Museum of Prints and Street Vendors: a narrative that leads from the local to the global, with the Tesino hawkers who, starting in the 1600s, dedicated themselves to itinerant trade, later specializing in the sale of prints, first in Europe and then throughout the world. It was an epic of missteps and successes that saw the Tesino people become the "image pioneers" of their time.

A thread linking Tesino to Europe is also evident in the De Gasperi Garden of Europe, immersed in the magnificent Tesino Arboretum and a ten-minute walk from the museums. A tribute composition to De Gasperi that redesigns the parliamentary hemicycle, a symbol of democracy, and expresses all its beauty at this time.
