The Tridentine diocesan museum proposes guided visits to the exhibition "Realtà e tradizione. L'arte di Vittorio Melchiori (1891-1951)" | "Reality and Tradition. The Art of Vittorio Melchiori (1891-1951)", which will be on display until 24 January 2023.
The visits will take place at 16.00 on:
Sunday 23 October
Sunday 6 November
Sunday 20 November
The guided visits are included in the museum admission ticket, until all available seats are taken (max 15 persons). No booking required.
The exhibition, curated by Domizio Cattoi, conservator of the Museum, aims to bring to the attention of the general public the artistic production and human story of a very talented painter, praised by his contemporaries for his remarkable technical mastery, but later neglected by critics and unjustly forgotten.
In the exhibition visitors will be able to admire more than sixty works by Vittorio Melchiori including paintings, drawings, sketches, and cartoons. There are five sections into which the exhibition is divided: portraits, sacred and literary themes, landscapes, still lifes, and preparatory studies for monumental works.
The guided visits are included in the museum admission ticket, until all available seats are taken (max 15 persons). No booking required.
