exhibition , Photographic exhibition

The photographs on display capture the hard work of women in the 19th and 20th century who, despite of enormous difficulties, engaged in various professions, with skill and determination, making use of their talents; so doing, they also faced situations of poverty in many cases.

The aim of this exhibition is to illustrate the dynamics of female emancipation through work in different contexts, from Trieste to Udine, Matera and Trento.

It will open on 11 April at 14.00, in the Science library of the University in Povo - Trento.

The photographs will be on display here until 4 May, and then will be exhibited in the Palazzo Istruzione in Rovereto from 6 to 16 May 2019.
