Hubbard Street Dance Chicago@InDanza
Nell’ambito della danza contemporanea, una compagnia esemplare e da imitare.

A company with a long tradition founded by Lou Conte in 1977, the Hubbard Street Dance Chicago is an exemplary and imitating company in contemporary dance. The artistic variety of the titles proposed, the ability of its twenty-two brilliant dancers to immerse themselves in the most diverse styles have made this group from Chicago, directed since 2011 by Glenn Edgerton, a dancer with an international career with the Joffrey Ballet and the Nederlands Dans Theater, an illustrious 'bridge' between America and Europe. His repertoire is boundless and includes works by Twyla Tharp, Jiří Kylián, Nacho Duato, Ohad Naharin, Crystial Pite and Alejandro Cerrudo, among others.
A collage of pieces different in number, but all extraordinarily intense, marks the evening of Trentino: four choreographies including the timeless and enthralling Echad by Ohad Naharin, the duet that 'illustrates' the implicit and explicit messages of our body A Picture of You Falling by Crystal Pite, the choral Out of Your Mind by Alejandro Cerrudo, an alchemy game of group transformation through the movement and Cloudline by the young choreographer Royn Mineko Williams that transports the audience into a dream world.
