Joscho Stephan Trio

With his first four albums, including his acclaimed debut album Swinging Strings, nominated CD of the month by American magazine Guitar Player, Joscho Stephan entered the illustrious circle of top musicians in the gipsy swing style, which emerged in the thirties with jazz guitar virtuoso Django Reinhardt. The German guitarist has not simply adopted this musical style, he stretches its boundaries and takes it to the highest levels. His talent is recognised by the many who have taken to the stage with him, from Paquito de Rivera to James Carter, from Charlie Mariano to Grady Tate, and is reaffirmed in tours and festivals in countries that include Australia, Slovenia, France, Poland, the United Kingdom and Italy.
