Lives in the trenches
Themed guided tour

Over the course of the summer, the War Museum is offering four special guided tours: in the company of a guide, it will be possible to visit the exhibition rooms, lingering over the most significant objects and exploring a different theme for each appointment.
On Friday 25 August, we will try to understand what the soldiers' experience in the Great War was like, starting from their everyday life. Looking at the exhibits, we will talk about the long months spent in the trenches, amidst fear, hunger and precarious hygienic conditions. We will read excerpts from letters and diaries in which soldiers kept track of the horror they were subjected to, trying to maintain contact with their loved ones.

Booking is recommended by the day before the event by tel. no. 0464 488041 or by email to: didattica@museodellaguerra.it.
