Cultural exhibitions and events

From 27 to 30 August the Paganella Plateau will host the "Mountain Future Festival", a new event with a clear goal: focusing on and speaking about the future of the mountain.

It’s an opportunity for interdisciplinary dialogue and exchange of ideas. For this reason, it will host experts of national and international importance (mountaineers, geologists, climatologists, writers, poets, anthropologists) who will share their experience, knowledge and visions, and express their thoughts on current topics such as: climate change, depopulation of the mountain, modernity, environment and digitization, governance and development.

It will begin on 27 August in Fai della Paganella (at the Palazzetto) with a concert by Caterina Cropelli and the screening of one of the most applauded films of the last edition of the Trento Film Festival entitled Queen Without Land, which recounts the life of Frost, a beautiful polar bear mother who with her cubs, in the Arctic, must fight for survival for the rapid melting of the ice due to climate change. It will then continue on 28 August in Andalo with two events, the first (at 17.00 at Plan dei Sarnacli) entitled "The sense of adventure. The sense of the limit", the second (at 21.00  at the Palacongressi) with the evening event by Reinhold Messner entitled "Wild- Mutual trust and spirit of initiative: these are the keys to the incredible adventure of Endurance", directed by Sandro Filippini.
