Oshie are charming and very elegant little dolls, made from scraps of fabric and coloured paper, stuffed with cotton.

Originally created as a pastime by the ladies of the Kyoto aristocracy, then also widespread among the other classes of Japanese society, they could be cut out to become real dolls to be given as gifts, or decorations to be glued on screens or mounted and displayed on sticks.

After admiring them on display, a workshop is offered, so that you can make your own creation.
