Sonata Islands Quartet

Sonata Islands is an ensemble born in 1998, whose musicians are at ease with musical genres such as classical music, jazz and rock. As a matter of fact, they are accustomed to dealing with the most disparate genres thanks to their academic training.

The programme of the quartet features compositions by Emilio Galante inspired by great 20th century authors such as Bartok, Debussy and Stravinsky, but also reinvented versions of Chick Corea and Astor Piazzolla's music.
