The St. Florianer Sängerknaben choir, to which Anton Bruckner also belonged, has existed since 1071. For centuries its main task has been to perform sacred music in St. Florian and for decades it has been present in concert halls all over the world.
It has made notable appearances at the most important music festivals, including the Salzburg Festival, Wiener Festwochen, Festival d'Aix en Provence; it has had repeated collaborations with famous orchestras, including the Vienna Philharmonic and Cleveland Orchestra, and famous conductors.
