Stories from prison between school and theatre
Meeting with Amedeo Savoia

On Thursday 16 February at 17.30 the Tridentine Diocesan Museum will host a meeting with Amedeo Savoia to talk about school and theatrical activities within the prison.
When talking about prisons, news such as overcrowding, suicides or escapes draw the attention of the public opinion, but little is known, for example, about education in prison, which is a right allowed by the prison rules and at the same essential for the re-education of the convicted person. Amedeo Savoia, Professor of Humanities at the "Leonardo da Vinci" Lycée has been teaching for several years in the prison of Trento. He has also organized theatre workshops in prison (from 1996 to 2014) in collaboration with voluntary associations and with the Institute for research and educational experimentation of Trentino (IPRASE).
Free admission. Teachers will be given an attendance certificate if requested
