After years of intense collaboration and concerts, guitarist Roberto Taufic and Barbara Casini, the most Brazilian of all Italian female singers, have released "Terras", a CD that celebrates the tradition of the land from which Taufic comes (though he’s Honduran of origin): the Northeast of Brazil.

This land becomes a metaphor of all the "terras" in the world, where beauty and suffering mingle together. The two musicians propose a journey through the great variety of Brazilian music idioms, such as samba, bossa nova, choro and baião, through new interpretations of some of the greatest authors of the Musica Popular Brasileira, such as Tom Jobim, Edu Lobo, Dorival Caymmi, Gilberto Gil and Chico Buarque.
