The 12 cellists of the Berliner Philharmoniker

Magical strings at altitude

Music , Classical music

An orchestra within an orchestra, pulsating strings that have attracted success and acclaim practically everywhere since their inception in 1972 within that incontestable international institution that is the Berliner Philharmoniker. It’s no coincidence that they have on several occasions been Berlin’s “musical ambassadors” to world dignitaries such as the President of the United States and the Emperor of Japan. They are now touching down in the majestic Dolomites to perform works by Boris Blacher, Julius Klengel, Astor Piazzolla and José Carlia.
