The Great War in San Martino di Castrozza

The exhibition is based on the private collection of Edoardo Zagonel, Alpine Guide, Ski Instructor, member of the Alpine Rescue and rescuer by passion.

Edo, who has always been passionate about world conflicts, has collected thousands of objects of historical interest over the years, travelling far and wide around his mountains.

The exhibition brings together photos, documents, diaries and exhibits that are an authentic evidence of the main war events that occurred in San Martino di Castrozza and Primiero during the First World War.

The exhibition is located near the centre of San Martino di Castrozza, at the State Forestry Station in Via Laghetto.
