Opening of the new layout of the section "The customs of the year", and Carnival party with re-enactment staff of the most ancient and mysterious carnival figures from Trentino

During the evening, offering of pasta, crostoli (typical Italian Carnival sweet) and wine. Entertainment and popular music by "La Vecchia Mitraglia".
Moreover, at the new Amba Aradam Cinema of the Museum, the film "Tre carnevali e ½" (“Three carnivals and a half”) by Michele Trentini will be shown (Museo degli usi e costumi della gente trentina, 2007, 50 ').
The new permanent section “I riti dell’anno” ("The customs of the year"), becomes part of the exhibition itinerary that was conceived fifty years ago by the Trentino-Bohemian scholar Giuseppe Šebesta (1919-2005) in the age-old fortified monastery called Prepositura Agostiniana. As a matter of fact, the Museo degli usi e costumi della gente trentina (Museum of the habits and customs of the people of Trentino) is considered one of the most important museums of folk life and crafts in Italy, and is one of the largest of its kind in the Alpine range.
Its new rooms, created in collaboration with the protagonists of the customs that have been investigated, are enriched with all the intuitions and materials derived from a ten-year-work carried out by Carnival King of Europe, and feature innovative technological solutions, including anthropological documentary films and 3D photography
