The extraordinary programme of the Trentino Folklife Museum on Saturday 29 October 2022

On Saturday 29 October the Trentino Folklife Museum proposes an interesting schedule and free admission to everybody, thanks to the collaboration and co-partnership of the municipallity of San Michele all'Adige. 

Opening times: from 9:00 to 18:00; free guided visits every hour, from 9.00 until 11.00 and from 14.00 to 18.00.

The anniversary of the Vaia Storm, which happened on Saturday 29 October 2018, is the final day of the "Vaia Storm Sounds" initiative, the particularly immersive sound experience conceived by architect Claudio Lucchin.

So there are still a few days left to listen to the sound and audio testimonies of some people who invite us to reflect on what happened.

At 11:00, a final conference of the series “The reasons of Vaia” will take place: “Forests and climate”, with speakers Lorenzo Ciccarese, Giovanni Giovannini and Gűnther Unterthiner (moderator Giampaolo Pedrotti).

Thanks to an agreement with the La-Vis winery of Valle di Cembra, the Museum guests will have the opportunity to taste the wines offered by these highly appreciated local winemakers of Trentino from 12:30 to 17.00.

From 16.00 to 18.00 the following events will take place: a study dedicated to “I boschi pregiati della Val di Fiemme" ("Val di Fiemme's prized forests"), curated by Andrea Bertagnolli, and the performance "L’anima del violino” ("The soul of the violin") curated  by Francesco Iorio Lutzenberger.

Such an exceptional programme cannot but end in an equally extraordinary way, starting at 19.00, with a sought-after rendezvous with the traditional cuisine and, in particular, with the "i Profumi di Vaia" Dinner by Paolo Donei's gourmet Restaurant "Malga Panna". Before dinner, guests will be welcomed by a violin concerto by Francesco Iorio Lutzenberger.
