At 21: L’eresia della giovinezza | The heresy of youth: concert lecture on the work of Sylvano Bussotti (1931-2021). Between words and notes, an excursus through the artist's career.
Sylvano Bussotti (1931-2021) was a leading figure in the music and scene of the second half of the 20th century.
After enjoying great fame and being one of the leading figures in the evolution of musical language in the 1960s and 1970s, he was marginalised.
Today, Bussotti's rediscovery is a success story for the history of national music. "The Heresy of Youth" is a concert lecture that introduces the artist's work and life by understanding the multidimensionality of images, words and notes. Bussotti thus appears as a total author, an emblem of the challenge to the separation of disciplines.
The musical tale presents images and music from the author's production, from youth to maturity, for guitar, voice and narration.
Antonio Ballista, piano, Monica Benvenuti, voice, Alberto Mesirca, guitar, Luca Scarlini, narrator. Presented by Denis Isaia and Stefano Sbarbaro.
