The hidden world
80 large-format photographs: a 360 degree view of the alpine fauna

It takes months or years to get to know an animal well, to be able to approach it and photograph it in its environment without bothering it. Photography is only the last act of a long journey.
The exhibition "The hidden world" presents pictures that were taken in the respect of nature and which are an attempt to tell through images the characteristics and behaviours of animals.
In fact these photographs, beyond their aesthetic value, describe the life of different species portrayed in crucial moments: moles living underground, or hunting vipers; trouts fertilizing their eggs and spiders living in the coldest winter on the coldest peaks hunting other small organisms.
The authors are four young photographers of the Val di Fiemme who share, through photography, their fond passion for nature: Tomaso Baldassarra, Daniele Dallabona, Silvio Luis Bejarano and Ivan Callovi.
Visitors can vote the best photographs, and the most appreciated ones will remain on display at the Museum until December 2017.
