The lost sound of the Karnyx

From weapon used by the Celts to frighten their enemies, to musical instrument to recall lost sounds: after two thousand years' silence, the karnyx of Sanzeno regains its sound thanks to a special project.
"The lost sound of the Karnyx", archaeology, music and experimentation, will take place at Casa de Gentili in Sanzeno on Saturday 1 September at 17.00 with Professors Ivano Ascari and Simone Zuccatti, the marching band from Lavis, and with Paolo Bellintani and Rosa Roncador, representatives of the project “Karnyx of Sanzeno”.
After the presentation at Casa de Gentili, participants in the event will reach the Museo Retico, accompanied by music.
