The rooms paved in majolica tiles

For the series of events "comodaMENTEinMUSEO. Aperitivi d'arte" (Leisurely at the museum 2017), Laura Dal Prà brings participants in the innermost circles of the apartment of the prince bishop, which reveal a delicate and precious pavement of majolica tiles; these have been studied for the first time, and their executors have been revealed.
A variety of shapes and decorations, exotic Turquerie, cherubs' games evoke colors and refinements of the richest baroque mansions.
Laura Dal Prà
Museum director and curator with Luciana Giacomelli and Elvio Mich of the exhibition "Chiesa Impero e turcherie.
