The walking river
Transhumance from the Adriatic Sea to the Lagorai mountains

Photographic and poetic exhibition by Alberto Pattini.
The exhibition "Fiume che cammina" ("The walking river") by poet and photographer Alberto Pattini will be hosted at the Predazzo geology museum in Predazzo from 27 January to 17 June 2018.
The exhibition is the result of a work of observation of a flock of animals led by young and expert shepherds, moving from the Lagorai mountains (Trentino) to the pastures of the Venetian area by the Adriatic Sea and back, along the millenary route of the transhumance on which the Romans built the road Claudia Augusta Altinate.
Photographs and written texts on display retrace this journey and try to convey those beautiful emotions which nature can raise.
The exhibition was already hosted at the Palazzo delle Albere in Trento last summer, but now, in Predazzo, it includes some new photos of shepherds of the Val di Fiemme.
