Those who love burn. Speeches at the border limit
Border stories at the centre of history

Show by and with Alice Conti
Text by Chiara Zingariello
Alice Conti, actress, performer, singer, takes us on a journey into the C.I.E., the Centres for Identification and Expulsion for foreigners, where people - half a million in Italy - may be interned for up to 18 months.
The show, a monologue-interview with several characters, whom the author really met - the Nurse, the Guarantor, the Guest - wants to throw an anthropological gaze on us, on our society and on the way we build the image and identity of others, foreigners, migrants, exiles.
The event also proposes a parallel offer for children: they will explore adults’ borders through their own eyes and sensitivity.
Through workshops, tales and activities, they will achieve – step by step - a great collective artwork.
The events “The children’s August” are meant for children over 6 years of age and at the same time they allow adults to take part in the scheduled events.
