Trentino's Etnography Festival

The Expo 2015 message, "Feeding the planet", arrives at the Museum of the habits and customs of the people of Trentino and enlivens the great Spring event that has been catching the museum’s attention for some years now. In fact, "Nutrire la montagna, nutrire la sua gente" ("Feeding the mountain and its people") is the theme of the 3rd Trentino's Etnography Festival which is rallying the partners of "Etnografia trentina in rete" ("Trentino's Etnography online") and all those who deal with sustainable agriculture and quality productions. This event, scheduled on 18 and 19 April, offers a rich programme and will showcase local products, biodiversity, traditional cultures being discussed in meetings with experts, but also craftsmanship, games, workshops, costumes, puppet theatre, music and dance, and the famous "Canta dei Mesi" of Cembra ("Months' Song", a masquerade about paesants’ life’s rhythms). It’s great feast of this territory, of its people and their traditions.
