Vassilissa is a good and obedient girl, who always says yes, only yes, yes mum, yes dad, yes to everyone, just to be loved.

Everything changes for her when her mother dies, as her father's new wife soon proves to be unkind and deceives the poor girl: she has to search in the wood the ever burning fire of the terrible witch Baba Jaga.

Vassilissa will finally find out that it is not so difficult to say what one thinks, and she'll learn also to say no.
