Warriors at the castle
The Beseno Castle will be the suggestive scene of historical re-enactments
The fortress will return to the time of the Trapps and the Battle of Calliano. Inside the ramparts and in the squares the old soldiers of the garrison will appear.
Pavilions and tents, weapons and banners, clothing and equipment will recreate the daily life of the time and the atmosphere of sieges and battles.
The animations, which include the presence of a dozen re-enactors with their camps, will be held on Saturdays and Sundays from 31 July to 29 August, with demonstrations at 12.00, alle 14.00 e alle 16.00.
The groups, in terms of activities and equipment, will naturally be linked to the historical events linked to the Battle of Calliano and to the confrontation that from that moment on - between the 15th and 16th centuries - often saw the Imperial army and that of the Serenissima Republic of Venice opposing each other.
The historical re-enactments are free: you need to have the castle admission ticket; booking required to access the castle and to see the show.
P.S.: It is advisable to book entry to the castle at least 30 minutes before the start of the event.
