It happened that day

Meetings and conferences , Conference

The extension of voting rights to women is a relatively recent achievement in Italy.

A legislative decree by the government formed by all the anti-fascist parties granted Italian women the right to vote, and just over a year later they were also granted the right to be elected.

This was a fundamental step in a long process of struggle for gender equality.

A programme organised by the Educational Area of the Fondazione Museo storico del Trentino.

Conductor and texts: Chiara Zanella.
Production coordination: Matteo Gentilini.
