FAI Spring days 2021

THE GREAT FAI CULTURE FESTIVAL RETURNS

The Fondo Ambiente Italiano (the National Trust of Italy) presents the FAI Spring days 2021 - 29th year: a weekend to discover a "different" Italy: more than 600 places open in 300 cities throughout Italy, from north to south.

COURAGE, PRIDE AND GENEROSITY, these are the words that express the spirit of the 29th edition of the FAI Spring Days, scheduled for Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 May 2021.

A unique opportunity to discover places which are usually closed to the public and to feel part of that lively and committed Italy of millions of people who, in recent years, have shown to love and to feel part of the immense cultural heritage kept in our country.

For the Province of Trento, the FAI has organised the SPRING DAYS in CEMBRA and LISIGNAGO, offering a weekend of guided tours and trekking in the countryside, entitled “Cembra: filari di Vita” (“Cembra: rows of life”).

The Val di Cembra (Cembra Valley) is a panorama of villages, small ones but rich in precious historical and artistic traces. There, ecosystems seem to coexist in a fragile balance with what remains of a rural civilisation that has discreetly shaped the landscape over the centuries. 

OTHER INITIATIVES IN TRENTINO:

The FAI Group of Rovereto and Vallagarina proposes two days of guided visits to the Church of Sant'Ilario Nuova in Rovereto.

The FAI Group of Val di Fiemme and Val di Fassa has scheduled a series of guided tours of the San Nicolò cemetery church in Predazzo (which dates back to the mid-16th century), while the FAI Group of Val di Sole and Val di Non will open the mill Molino Dalla Torre "Zorzini". 

The Castello di Sabbionara d’Avio (Avio Castle) can also be visited; the Castelbarcos, Barons of Gresta, donated it to the FAI in 1977.
