From castle to castle by train

Every Saturday from 7^th May to 18^th June, and from 23^rd July to 3^rd September, on Friday 9^th and 16^thSeptember

Accompanied by expert tour guides, this adventure will unfold to be a fascinating trip into the history and art held within the Castles San Michele and Caldes in the Val di Sole, stretching to the private mansion of Castel Valer and the majestic Thun Castle in the Val di Non.

In between visits the passengers will have the chance to enjoy a healthy breakfast offered by Melinda and Latte Trento, a banquet of typical products brought together by the consortium “Strada della Mela”, wines and bubbles hosted by the Cantina Rotari Mezzacorona estates, and to round up the tasting, an infusion of medicinal herbs to sip while enjoying the beautiful lights and hues of a sunset in the unique setting of an antique castle.

Full price € 62, owners of Trentino Guest Card € 56, passenger under 16 years € 52, children 0-4 years free, Family Special, children 4-12 years € 10.

The Castle Route Train winks this year at children, who for three Sundays (31 July, 7 August, 21 August) are offered discounted tickets. Each castle proposes amazing events: workshops, animated stories and a treasure hunt for the whole family.

ADVICE

We advise all guests to wear comfortable shoes and clothing. The castles can only be reached on foot.

Guests can park their cars at no extra charge for the whole day within the parking bays in front of the Trento-Malé railway station in Trento.

Those guests sojourning in Val di Non and Val di Sole can opt to join the tour by boarding the train at Cles railway station or by taking the coach in Malé.
