Gender issues are a key element of modern forms of global development. Beyond stereotypes, seeking new chimeras in our contemporary world.

What does it mean to rethink gender roles today?

In which ways male/female cultural pardigms are changing? And what does it mean to be a man or a woman in our society?

HISTORY

Pergine Spettacolo Aperto over the last  forty years has become one of the most important cultural appointments held during the summer in Trentino. This is a manifestation deeply connected with its host village that has been acquiring a dimension even more international, settling in a European network of same-field operators and volunteering as a holder of creative experimentation and of contemporary artistic production, often related to uncomfortable themes. In recent years the majority of the formula that has been adopted concerns an alternation of the classical scheme, involving a “frontal” fruition of the show. The audience is not a simple spectator anymore, on the contrary, it actively participates in the event ‘s realization, determining its course of action, occupying spaces and taking part in the decisional aspects.

In these premises the festival itself assumes a connotation of “experience” in the first place, that involves individuals and turns them into protagonists.
