The 'Più Piano' Festival was founded in 2008. This year, important musical events are organised in tourist locations in the Trentino - South Tyrol region.

It is a series of classical piano concerts, either solo or accompanied by other instruments. The artists involved come from Trentino - South Tyrol, Italy and Europe, in order to offer an overview of high-level musical institutions from different places in the same season.

This year there are also a number of concerts specifically dedicated to emerging musicians from Trentino, both Italian and foreign ones, included in a special section of the festival called 'Young Talents'.

Each concert of the Festival is preceded by a short introductory presentation, so as to accompany the audience in listening to the music on the programme and to enable even people who are unfamiliar with classical music to approach these concerts easily.

Since 2009, concerts dedicated to other musical styles, such as jazz, improvisation, tango and film music, have been offered in addition to classical music. Since 2010, there have also been one or more evenings each year in which the
music is combined with other artistic forms: poetry, theatre, painting, cinema, puppetry, dance. This year music is combined with acting, with two concerts in which music is accompanied by a reciting voice: on 25 July in Roncegno, with a concert dedicated to F. Chopin, and on 16 August in Stenico, with a concert dedicated to J. S. Bach.

The initiative is carried out with the collaboration of the Autonomous Province of Trento, the Autonomous Region of Trentino - Alto Adige and the Caritro Foundation.
