Archives

The archival scenario of Trentino is very varied and in time it has been described with different instruments. In 1976 the provincial provincial Councillorship started its activity in the field of archival material with a survey on archives of the municipalities of Trentino. Important benchmark to deal with archives in Trentino is the Guida storico archivistica del Trentino (i.e. Guide of the historical archives of Trentino), written by Albino Casetti; more updated information are to be found in the book edited by Armando Tomasi, Archivi del Trentino-Alto Adige.
