The Thun Castle celebrates its tenth birthday

The Thun Castle opened its doors on 17 April 2010.

Ten years ago, on 17 April 2010, the Thun Castle opened its doors to the public after about 20 years of restoration work.

With this video we are pleased to retrace the castle's first ten years, starting from February 2010, and then tell you about the exhibitions set up, the new works and restorations and the recent rearrangement of some rooms.

Thun castle

Built in the 1250s, it was the main residence of the Thun family. It was open to the public in 2010, and is nowadays one of the venues of the Castello del Buonconsiglio Museum.
