International Band Competition
Since its first edition in 1992, Flicorno d’Oro aims to create discussion and musical opportunities for artistic enrichment. The steady increase of participation and the growth of the artistic level of the bands in the competition have confirmed the value of this competition making it a true meeting point for lovers of band music. The meeting in Riva del Garda is in fact becoming recurrent in music and wind bands from different European countries thanks to the famous musicians that in the years were called to judge.
The internationality that has always distinguished the event is renewed; groups from Italy, Hungary, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, and Belgium will be here in Riva del Garda to take part to the competition.
But Flicorno d’Oro is not just a competition! Many appointments complete the offer for the entire duration of the competition.
Three days full of music capable of reliving the city of Riva del Garda and Trentino. The event will officially kick off on April 8th with the opening concert held this year by the Wind Orchestra of the Bonporti Conservatory of Trento conducted by Maestro Giancarlo Guarino. The closing and award giving ceremony will be Sunday April 10th at 5.45 pm with the announcement of the winners and the awarding of the Flicorno d’Oro 2022 trophy.
The collaboration with Yamaha Music Europe will also continue, offering free maintenance seminars for wood and brass.
In short, new solutions, but the same passion.
